Daily Duties at Arizona Public Service (Aps) Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station:

Provided leadership within the services supply chain for commodity purchasing group(s) and supply chain management program(s). Developed and implemented supply chain strategies, targets, and schedules to achieve goals and objectives for cost management supplier management, process improvement, and supplier development and diversity. Developed, bid and awarded facility contracts for the expansion to the protected area. As a key member of supply chain improvement team evaluated and developed and executed a supply chain processes improvement plan to better align the Materials and Contract services sections for support of business units and protect core processes and to maximize value obtained from supplier base. Ensured continuous flow of highest quality materials and services at the lowest total cost to ensure operational excellence and support the business operations. Developed performance metrics to measures supplier performance against defined goals and objectives, e.g., quality, cost, delivery, service, and lead-time improvement targets, vendor/supplier/user relationships, and leads supplier evaluation and development program. Effectively managed a $27 million dollar O&M budget.
