Responsible for the staffing and supervision of approx. 30-40 pharmacy employees, was involved in writing and revising pharmacy department policies, scheduled all the pharmacists and supervised the scheduling of the pharmacy technicians by my lead pharmacy technician, in charge of payroll, for the department, served on various committees including the Medical Committee and other Nursing/Pharmacy committees, also met daily with nursing and administration to resolve any nursing/pharmacy situations proactively, in charge of training program for newly hired pharmacists and technicians, involved in implementing and review of clinical pharmacy initiatives such as renal dosing program, aminoglycoside dosing services, Intravenous to Oral medication switch program, Allergy/Weight/Height quality assurance program, automatic stop date program and other drug specific dosing services
