Daily Duties at Airport Group International:
• Developed the annual operating and cash budget for the Company, which required working with location managers and Vice Presidents for each Division. • Designed and implemented a new financial system for the Finance and Accounting departments, which included customized on-line operational and financials reports for management used in decision making. • Implemented a weekly cash forecasting system. • Analyzed the Company’s financial statements. This entailed explaining operation actual-to-budget variances for each of AGI’s international and domestic locations. • Prepared consolidated financial statements for five domestic and five international subsidiaries. This included foreign currency translation, international accounting, and coordination with subsidiary accounting managers. • Oversaw daily cash management function, which required coordination with various disciplines within the Company and daily investment of cash. • Performed special project assignments, such as determining the financial and accounting ramifications of selling one of AGI’s airports. • Prepared financial information for new business proposals. • Supervised a staff of four employees.
