Daily Duties at Perot Systems:

Regularly managed five or more IT infrastructure and application projects on the Parsons account including office moves and expansions, network, server, and PBX/IP Telephony phone upgrades, and software roll-out. Communicated with IT and business managers to gather requirements, develop deliverables and milestones, and set expectations, resulting in efficient project delivery. *Consistently delivered projects on time and under budget to meet internal quality standards and service level agreements (SLAs). *Produced weekly/monthly/quarterly progress reports using standard Earned Value Management (EVM) calculations including presentations to directors and the CIO. *Created project documents detailing the feasibility, scope, schedule, initial costs, recurring costs, capital depreciation estimates, and timeline for projects. Systems Administrator Helped lead the migration efforts of over 3,000 users from the Parsons AD forest to the new Parsons E&C forest. Assisted in preparing the scope and schedule for the project, as well as designing the new AD forest. Tested migration software, and back-out plans. Assigned tasks and trained co-workers, as well as managing and implementing the migration of offices in my region. Presented "Knowledge Cafés" to the user community to train them on new procedures for requesting IT services. *Managed servers in EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Asia) region and coordinated projects and activities though Middle East-based support staff *Planned, managed, and implemented IP address change for Houston office. Coordinated activities of WAN and Deskside support teams to achieve IP scope change for 25 servers, 30 switches, and 500 users in one weekend. *Used SMS and VBScript to deploy operating system patches and update/install software applications for oil and gas engineering. Desktop Support Specialist As the team Specialist, became a technical resource to other members as part of a team providing desk-side support and project coordination for 1000 internal and remote users thereby increasing the efficiency of the support team. *Authored numerous VBScripts, batch files, and Windows Registry files to solve special problems, scan for and deploy security patches, and manage licenses. *Traveled to sites in Houston and out of state as part of teams sent to setup remote offices
