Daily Duties at Vision & Vocational Services:

Administrator and decision maker for all employee benefits, management of workers’ compensation and unemployment claims. Consult with managers and line staff to resolve performance issues; review all performance evaluations and disciplinary documentation. Review and suggest revisions for policies and procedures. Train program managers in soft skills e.g., giving feedback, decision-making, setting goals as well as technical issues such as ADA, FMLA, and sexual harassment. Responsible for legal compliance. Oversight of all vocational services staff in 26 counties, to include budgeting, goal setting, performance management. Chief Operating Officer title from May 2008 to January 2010. Promoted from job coach, job developer, administrative assistant, HR & Administrative Manager, Administrative Director, Interim Co-Executive Director.
