Daily Duties at First Data Corporation:

Responsible for the mainframe environments at two Data Centers. as the data center moved from older Amdahl, Hitachi and IBM mainframe central processors to newer IBM G5 and Hitachi Skyline technology. By the end of this time period IBM G6 CPU’s were also leased and installed. Storage in the form of DASD and physical tape was also added to or replaced in both data centers with newer technologies. Print hardware and software acquision at three Print Facilities and two credit card manufacturing plants along with multiple projects to expand mail sorting and envelope inserting capabilities were also undertaken.
