Daily Duties at Saic Do D Contract:

Manage, develop and execute strategic communications plans for the Business Transformation Agency (BTA) with the Department of Defense (DoD). Initiate and collaborate on multiple communications projects with the client. Provide creative solutions for various enterprise initiatives in a fast-paced environment. Write and edit news related stories for external and internal audience. Work closely with BTA’s Communications Department to promote enterprise goals and programs. Key Achievements: - Developed a comprehensive Strategic Communications Plan for BTA’s outreach program, the “Academic Engagement Initiative” (AEI) and ensured adequate timelines and deliverables for the client and stakeholders. - Created several communication tools such as fact sheets and brochures to promote AEI internally and externally enabling program growth and higher visibility among stakeholders. - Established an on-line presence on “MilSuite” – a social media Web Site enabling Web 2.0 in a DoD business environment while implementing effective communication and collaboration among team members
