Daily Duties at First Data Corporation:
Provided direction and support for all mainframe computer systems and peripherals. Analyzed equipment needs of five mainframe Data Centers and made appropriate purchases. Performed consulting services and cost comparison analysis for corporate data centers throughout the EMEA. Provided support, equipment procurement, and project management for four high speed print facilities that produce statements and letters for more than 350M credit card accounts and three card manufacturing plants. Oversaw two managers and two Senior Technical Contract Analysts whose responsibilities were hardware and software procurement to support First Data Resources, First Data Voice Systems, First Data China, and Concord EFS. These included all mainframe environments, servers, and electronic storage and telecommunications networks. Consulted on several offshore programming negotiations and agreement preparations for those services. Cost savings and avoidance exceeding all yearly goals.
