Daily Duties at Citigroup:

Define and ensure planning, coordinating, and directing the activities of staff to deliver portfolio of IT projects for the online service support area; meeting budget goals and objectives; preparation of high level activity and progress reports; providing leadership in ensuring stability and performance of the application suite. Also work with various IT, Development and Business groups, as well as partners to recommend an optimal solution utilizing the scope of Citigroup's and the partner's capabilities for providing enterprise solutions . Orchestrate daily batch processing, production installations, DASD maintenance, E-Forms, PI, and weekly backup functions. Review NetView alerts produced by AS400 Field and QA/User Test controllers. Rectify JCL issues and production job system failures. Perform semiannual and yearly technical, staff promotion, and vendor reviews. Direct the operations team in the execution of such core requisites as MVS and VTAM operations. Set staff development goals.
