Daily Duties at Harris Teeter :
Store manager in an upscale grocery chain offering stores located in DE, VA, NC, SC, TN & FL.- Average store sales are between $200K-$600k and average employee base is between 50-115 per store. - Proficient in recruiting, people development, safety/loss prevention, computer skills, organization, customer relations, and merchandising. - Exceptionally competent in inventory management, waste reduction, payroll, corporate directive, budgeting/forecasting, vendor relations, stockroom organization, and operates within local, state and federal regulations. - Driven to exceed time line requirements- Teach retail finance class to new managers for the Northern Region- Consistent with all company expectations and have been a leader in charity fund raising. -Primary responsibility is to Take Excellent Care Of Our Customers by satisfying each customer's needs, exceeding their expectations, and making every shopping visit a pleasant and satisfying experience. This requires a defined level of management skills, product knowledge, and cooperation with fellow associates.- Manage the store as to maximize controllable profit and minimize expenses, while maintaining Harris Teeter Standards in a union free environment.- Reflect an appropriate business image to customers and visitors.
