Generated P&L statement on a weekly basis • Created a model sensitive to macroeconomic variables to analyze the risk profile of the company with specific emphasis on the interest rate risk and foreign exchange rate risk to the company’s outstanding liabilities • Developed a new hedging strategy to reduce interest rate risk due to movements in local and global market rates as well as big movements in the foreign exchange rates for the Pakistani Rupee. • Managed and fostered relationships with senior management of the company to implement new business expansion and strategic streamlining of the accounting and finance policies • Created and implemented a cost calculation methodology enabling more efficient sales price calculations of cloth • Company representative at international industry trade shows including in Turkey, New York and Las Vegas; prepared marketing collateral materials, booth equipment and set up, and manage the exhibit
