Daily Duties at Emeritus Senior Living:

 Ensured optimum/maximum occupancy, by motivating staff to participate in the process; monitored competition and made real-time adjustments; developed partnerships with professional organizations and associations  Promoted exceptional customer service by providing training at orientation and monthly in-services utilizing corporations Family Values  Held direct accountability for Profit and Loss including occupancy, accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll which resulted in ending 2009 at highest occupancy rate and highest EBIDARM (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and management fees)  Developed and conducted state required training programs through staff meetings and in-services which kept staff up-to-date on appropriate methods to assure resident and staff safety, staff retention and overall team environment  Hired, trained and mentored community staff  Enforced corporation policies and procedures which held staff accountable and directly carried out corrective and disciplinary actions when necessary  Maintained current knowledge of State Regulations to ensured compliance in all surveys conducted by licensing authority and prepared Northeast communities for State surveys which resulted in fewer corrective actions and no disciplinary actions
