Daily Duties at Kentwood Community Church:

I was hired to develop a infra-structure through Small Groups and Evangelism and help the church to grow I was given little to no boundaries. Responsibilities included development of all Discipleship, Outreach and Evangelism Programs. I created the Assimilation and Gift mobilization systems. I also wrote all job descriptions and recruited the 400-500 volunteers needed for these ministries. Job also responsible for creating: Evangelism training, Special events, Block Outreach (covering 216 square miles) Friend Day, Week of Witness (Easter), One-to-One Discipleship tracking new believers for two years, Curriculum development, Pastors Prayer Partners, Harvest Night, Summer Sunday picnics, Cappuccino Ministries, mass marketing, TV commercials, radio clips, conferences, and co-led mission work in Haiti. 1991-1993 Started 80 small groups: 20/Support, 20/Discipleship 40 Home Groups. I created new Ministries to help assimilation the church growth process such as Men’s and Women’s Ministry, Tel-A-Ministry (7,000 calls per year), camping and canoe trips, Information centers, Welcome classes, as well as a Volunteer Ministry Office. 1994-1996 Developed volunteer systems for ushers, greeters, hosts, parking lot, Neighborhoods of Prayer, Pastor’s Prayer Partners, Nurses in Action, Assisted in general pastoral duties: preaching, teaching, funerals, weddings, counseling and lead people to Christ and into discipleship.
