Daily Duties at State Street Corporation:
Managed and motivated staff and first line team of managers to improve performance through coordinated efforts. Provided Technical expertise to resolve daily problems. Implemented new systems and processes. Managed client conversions and transitions. • Managed the books of accounts for 24 clients with over $35 Billion in assets under custody made up of Healthcares, Foundations, Universities and Colleges for both Endowment and Pension Trusts through subordinate account managers (3) and staff (16). • Developed and implemented enhancements to operational processes to more effectively meet the needs of the client. • Developed relationships with client companies. Assessed satisfaction levels. Resolved issues and answered questions in a timely manner to instill customer loyalty. • Assisted with new business development efforts as needed and made presentations to potential clients. • Coordinated monitoring and tracking of errors and restatements of client reports for over 100 Not-For-Profit and Corporate Pension clients that were out-sourced to Mumbai, India in a Joint Venture effort with Syntel. • Developed and implemented strategies and controls to avoid reoccurrence of any errors made in the daily processing and month end reporting of the Not-For-Profit and Corporate Pension clients that were out-sourced to Syntel. • Developed and implemented various training and development programs for the staff and management teams at Syntel. This included spending eight weeks in Mumbai, India over the course of the last two years to do on-sight training and development of the Syntel staff and management teams. • Transitioned various clients into State Street from various other custodians and successfully reconciled to the previous books of record to provide no interruption in services or reporting to the client. • Transitioned various clients into various Plan Accounting systems by designing and building the Trust Structures needed to fulfill the clients reporting needs and mapping out the needed audit trails to track and manage the information being transitioned.
