Daily Duties at Apl Logistics:
Established a tracking file system to centralize information to be used by all Honeywell plants to deposit and extract information from for maintenance performed on railcars utilized in the refrigerant fleet. Standardized form utilization across the board for ease of information flow to facilitate safety communication to all personnel coming into contact with Hazardous Materials being shipped in railcars throughout United States, Canada and Mexico. Researched and gathered information for Honeywell personnel utilizing web based software programs (Railtrac –Citrix – UTLX Link-Net) to track and trace movements of railcars. Resolved delay issues with all major railroads daily for movements throughout United States, border crossings into and out of Canada and Mexico. Collaborated with vendor suppliers of railcars (GATX, GE Rail, PLMX and UTLX) critical test data information on the status of the maintenance process needed to keep in compliance with Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) and Association of American Railroads (AAR) regulations.
