Daily Duties at Honeywell International:

Conducted shift starter meetings for 13 direct report union personnel assigned to the Tank Farm group on daily basis to update work assignments and disseminate safety and housekeeping requirements in accordance with established Honeywell Structured Safety Program (HSSP). Anticipate production problems (raw material shortages, equipment malfunctions, rush orders, etc) to maximize through put and usage of work hours to achieve production quality objectives. Communicate timely information across departmental lines with other supervisors on product flow and work force needs. Prepare work notifications using SAP to inform needed repairs to maintenance planners. Issue proper Lock/Tag/Try permits for critical items to be repaired prior to maintenance personnel arriving to ensure that there were no hazards present. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations issued by OSHA, EPA, NRC, FRA, DOT and any other federal, state and local regulatory agencies. Coach and mentor subordinate personnel on professional development on all established Honeywell procedures, policies and guidelines. Lead/Participate in incident investigations by involvement in plant Emergency Response Team (ERT) / Transportation Emergency Systems Honeywell (TESH) group.
