Daily Duties at Rural Cellular Corporation:
I was originally hired by Unicel to prospect for new business in southern VT. That soon became all of VT, western NH & eastern NY state. Responsible for using Professional Selling Skills, Prospecting Skills, Winning Account Strategies and all other company provided training in the course of representing Unicel and selling its’ products and services. Responsible for recording sales and service activity in Unicel’s Goldmine contact management software program to efficiently track, manage, and continuously improve sales.Maintain current knowledge of industry developments and technology in order to assist customers with the latest industry trends and products. Maintained knowledge of principles and processes involved in business and organizational planning including customer retention and management systems. Responsible for following up on all web inquiries and assisting customers with their needs.
