Daily Duties at Joint Staff, Yugoslavia Intelligence Task Force (The Pentagon):
Mr. James’ career culminated briefing the Intelligence Chairman of the Joint Staff on a daily basis while also serving as the Current Analyst on our nation’s only permanent Task Force. His position as the Current Analyst was the focal point for all-source information flowing into the Yugoslavia Intelligence Task Force (ITF). He functioned as an ITF Watch Officer with the responsibility of closely monitoring all incoming information, analyzing and making an initial assessment of its significance, and determining if immediate responses were required by the ITF. Mr. James managed and performed all research requests from the Joint Staff in support of the National Command Authority, the Department of Defense, the Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff and other supported intelligence agencies.
