Daily Duties at Us Postal Service:
Various positions within the US Postal Service. As relief supervisor, responsible for supervising plant operations in the absence of permanent supervisors. Scheduled employees shifts and managed the mail-flow to ensure on-time deliveries. Prepared mail flow reports and balanced with mail processing machine counts. Tracked and assisted in preparing budget reports and statistical compilations on performance measurements. As a postal clerk, processed mail to meet deadlines and truck schedules. Memorized the city scheme and carrier delivery addresses. Worked with complex mail processing machinery. As an on-the-job instructor, extensive knowledge of all positions and duties within the clerk craft. Trained new employees on the duties of their positions. Responsible for conducting monthly safety training meetings and attending annual safety training meetings. Defined best practices within the clerk craft and updated processes to more efficiently process the mail.
