Daily Duties at Us Department Of Interior:

· Experience prioritizing multiple phone calls; Responsible for answering main telephone line for the office, handles basic inquiries and directs calls to the appropriate staff; display excellent telephone manners · Coordinates mail/overnight services within the office, including pick-up, distribution and sending out correspondence. Supports mass mailing and fax efforts. · Provide administrative and technical supervision necessary for accomplishing the work of the unit. · Provide administrative support in a variety of capacities, including telephone coverage, copier projects, mail handling, filing, supplies control, processing of letters/correspondence, events/meeting planning and logistics, report generation, invoice/expense reporting, database management, assisting with completion of specially assigned projects, and necessary communications internally and externally · Coordinates inventory, ordering, receiving and storing supplies. Files records and publications, and press material. · Assists with travel arrangements, preparation of itineraries, setting up appointments, and general organization. · Scheduled appointments for use of conference room spaces · Provide a variety of administrative, clerical and technical support to facilitate operations. •Provides general administrative services in support of operations, to include the areas of Marketing and Communications, Special Events, and Education.
