Daily Duties at University Of Texas, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center:
Provides analytical support to the Sourcing and Contract Management team through information gathering, market research, economic modeling and savings assessment. Impacts procurement of goods and services for the institution. Conducts analysis of buying habits and vendor performance. Assembles internal spend data by commodity category. Develops sourcing evaluation strategies and balanced scorecard tools. Prepares and presents reports to management on actual and projected sourcing savings and incorporates savings into departmental budget. Researches and compiles external marketing information on products and services. Assists with contract start-up functions and identifying product standardization opportunities.
