Daily Duties at Banco Popular De Puerto Rico:
Underwrite, approve, and structure complex commercial loans for contractors, real estate developers, doctors, attorneys, hotels, car dealerships, gas stations, restaurants, retirement homes, quasi-government agencies, and various types of retailers. Process Small Business Administration applications. Manage a commercial loan portfolio in excess of $100 million with facilities ranging from term loans, demand loans, lines of credit, floor plan loans and letters of credit. Work closely with Senior Vice President and Regional Manager on asset management and credit policy. Conduct portfolio pricing and process annual loan reviews and coordinate loan recovery / workout plans.
