Daily Duties at Volt Telecommunications Group:
Network engineer responsible for site surveys, customer requirements analysis, network design and proposal development primarily in the federal project arena. Includes tasks such as engineering design, proposal text development, Statements of Work (SOW), Contract Line Item pricing, Equipment Order Lists and applicable engineering drawings. Customers include Redstone Arsenal and Fort Carson, US Army. Typical equipment offered was large Cisco (i.e.65XX) and Brocade (i.e.BigIron) switches, routers and security appliances. Also required detailing site power, AC, physical equipment requirements.
