Daily Duties at Defense Information System Agency:

Identify enterprise-wide information technologies for IT investments and report to the Chief Technology Officer. Access capabilities to ensure responsive, relevant, value-added services are provided to customers. • The lead in leadership and management in support of strategic planning, policy, and consulting and inter-directorate negotiations. • The Representative/Liaison to the following working groups, The Enterprise Architecture Working Group, Enterprise Software Initiatives, Department of Defense Global Information Grid Services Strategy • Create strategies for defense agencies and military departments to improved major Test & Evaluation capabilities needed to support current or planned defense acquisition programs, science, and technology demonstrations, and warfighter experiments. • Develop and maintain policies, standards, processes and procedures for best industry practices, governing standardization of IT investments. This includes CPIC, Portfolio management • Review unauthorized deviations from established best practices and recommend corrective actions • Research emerging test tools propose solutions to acquire/implement them to satisfy requirements. • Collect/compile artifacts for an EA repository, integrating EA and IT capital planning. Using DoDAF and FEA for EA Governance.
