Daily Duties at Aar Cadillac Mnaufacturing:
Promoted from position as company’s sole Sales Engineer and representative on West Coast (1988-1993) to drive $10M annual sales revenue. Managed new product development, market research, marketing, sales, and business development efforts targeting domestic and international markets. Created, established, and coordinated sales distribution and representative networks. Priced complex fabricated structures, developed international contracts, and sourced raw materials from local vendors. Directed all facets of business and ISO 9000 certified operations for $7.5M composites facility supplying composite and metallic components to aerospace and parts markets. Developed and managed annual operating budget, selected new equipment, and prepared sales forecasts. Led team of two direct reporting supervisors with 30-member unionized staff in two shifts. Reported to Vice President of Operations.
