Daily Duties at Community Development Community Relations:
Participate on affordable housing related boards and committees that advocate for the housing needs of low to moderate income consumers and first-time home buyers. • Provide technical support, such as fundraising, community development and community outreach to the Development Corporation of Northwest Baltimore. Perform the following activities as a construction project team member: Work in collaboration with housing contractors to guarantee compliance with city and state housing codes. Review construction progress and time tables with project manager to ensure the work is performed in accordance with contract documents. • Conduct “Home Buyer Education” training workshops for first-time home buyers and low to moderate income consumers. • Volunteer and support various community related activities.
