Daily Duties at Free Port Mc Mo Ran :
Assist business unit leadership in the planning development, coordination, support, and execution of high impact (immediate and long term) improvement plans for effective and sustainable cost saving initiatives in Global Sourcing and Contractor Management. Lead various projects and teams implementing LEAN & six-sigma improvement projects at multiple business sites and drive best practices within and across sites. Analyze data using six-sigma tools and prepare recommendations and reports to drive high-impact process improvement efforts. Develop approaches for measuring performance against customer requirements on a regular basis. Institutionalize process improvement methodologies by establishing and managing process metrics, and data analysis. Provide direction, consultation, and hands-on support to all business sites and existing green belts to successfully drive projects. Utilize Project Management Methodology to manage & execute projects.
