Daily Duties at Trelleborg Sealing Solutions:
Primary responsibility is to monitor and reconcile discrepancies between the inventory general ledger accounts and the inventory valuation reports. Inventory is broken up between 11 different branch plants: one in Fort Wayne; one in Fresno, California; one in Torrance, California; and the remaining are consignment inventory locations. I also research unvouchered receipts, reconcile intercompany balances at month end, do month end general ledger account reconciliations, and calculate goods in transit from intercompany suppliers. I also record monthly exchange gains/losses, conduct research on various ad hoc projects, and research issues inventory valuation uses. Inventory is valued using weighted average.
