Daily Duties at St Vincent Women's Hospital:
Started with small geriatric psych position and working as Nurse Resource on weekends. Then transferred to mother/baby unit. responsibilities included physical assessment of recently delivered mothers and healthy newborns,patient education, pain management, medication management, use of aroma therapy, breast feeding education and assistance, basic social needs assessment and referral to social services if appropriate, and emotional support.
