• Led successful launch of Chase Blueprint, carefully positioning product as an industry-first during challenging credit card environment and economic uncertainty, resulting in 558+ million media impressions. Highlights included USA Today exclusive, “Something new: A credit card on consumers’ side”. Secured 163 broadcast news segments and 184 unique print/online posts. • Led successful and innovative re-launch of flagship brand Chase Freedom®, positioning it as the industry’s leading cash back credit card while facing a challenging competitive environment and customer confusion from the product’s history, shifting media coverage tonality from 60 percent positive/40 percent negative to 73 percent positive/27 percent negative in four months (without national advertising support). • Served as an original member of Chase’s Social Media leadership team, evaluating strategy for the Chase brand and sub-brands. Launched the Blueprint YouTube channel, the company’s first effort. • Managed the communication and message development efforts to protect and best position Chase Card Services during an era of extreme legislative scrutiny and challenging economics as well as extensive business model adjustments such as interest rate increases and account closures. Led crisis communications around legislative challenges and integrated new messaging into customer communications (such as letters & call scripts), employee communication and training, media relations statements and analyst communications. Served as lead spokesperson. • Created initial brand and visual identity guidelines as well as redesigned website for Chase Clear & SimpleSM. Worked with business teams to develop customer marketing and advertising. • Managed multiple public relations and other creative agencies with multi-million dollar budgets. • Served as company liaison with industry organizations such as American Bankers Association and the Electronic Payment Coalition.
