Daily Duties at Bbn Corporation:
Management of a staff of six for the installation of hardware/software for America Online. The product line of routers were (ASCEND), which are a family of dedicated dial-up remote access routers designed for corporation with expanding Internet connectivity needs of remote offices to the corporate LAN. Provided troubleshooting using a working understanding of ISDN Primary Access Services, and local and remote exchange carriers such as Bell Atlantic, Southern Bell, Pacific Bell, etc. Installed Channelized T-1 services, Ethernet configuration, digital modems and frame relay devices. Also provided acceptance standards of quality control, performed by the Installation Testing and Acceptance team for all network equipment being accepted by the engineering group to be placed on the America Online Network. Experienced in personnel management, production management and an adherence to strict deadlines.
