Daily Duties at Logicon Corporation :
Provided troubleshooting and investigation of the WAN/LAN problems covering LADD circuits, T-1 lines, x.25, and V.35 circuits via the Help Desk.. Provided hands-on, on site support for Cabletron Hubs, Cisco Routers and Novell servers at local and remote sites in Philadelphia, Boston, N.Y. and Washington, using HP OpenView in the Control Center. Other tasks includes Novell 3.1X LAN Administrator for 2 servers, both consisting of 500 users, the building of a new network infrastructure of over 2000 users and 20 servers; Upgrading of HP, Compaq and Dell Servers; Installation of hard drives, memory, software; the installation of tape backup using Arcserve 6.1 needed to convert over to Novell 4.1X. Other duties included, problem resolution of end-user problems such as passwords lockouts, time restrictions, adding/deleting users, network drive mappings, and applications problems for experienced using WordPerfect, Lotus Notes, and Excel.
