Daily Duties at Cetero Research :

Vice President of Clinical Affairs, Operations & Senior Director Special Pops Cetero Research 2008 to Present This role was responsible for Cetero Research’s Miami Operations, including P&L responsibility. Other core responsibilities include the logistics, senior executive management, development and implementation of the strategic business plans for the Miami business unit and Central Cetero Clinical Laboratory. • Manage, develop and implement strategic plans for the following divisions: Phase 1/BE Operations, Special Populations, Subject Recruitment, Central Clinical Laboratory, Clinical-Medical devices, Facilities, Human Resources, Quality Assurance, Finance, and Information Technology. • Evaluate potential business partners and joint ventures • Review and approve study quotations, cost-analysis and budgets • Participate in creation, development and revision of SOPs for all Miami Divisions • Assist in business development for Miami and global operations • Manage direct reports. This includes but is not limited to: preparing and conducting performance appraisals for direct reports, carrying out progressive discipline as required and training and career development • With Department Heads develop hiring projections to ensure departmental growth is appropriate to achieve corporate goals without over stepping quality measures • Provide progress updates to the Chief Operating Officer and CFO for ongoing projects (status of trials, financial aspects, etc.); Financial forecasting on a weekly basis with a 90 to 120 day projection based on contracts, budgets and operational margins. • Participate at industry meetings, conferences, trade shows, partnership meetings and workshops as required for business growth. Conduct of site visits and all facility tours. • Work with the Quality Assurance group in the development/revision and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures as required • Ensure compliance with appropriate SOP’S, GCP, FDA Code of Federal Regulations, EMEA and ICH guidelines • Participate in training sessions-educate staff, guarantee optimal training. • Work in a safe manner that does not endanger yourself or co-workers • Strive to consistently uphold Company core values and mission statements
