Daily Duties at Airtrails/Verticare:

Provide high impact leadership to the business on a broad range of strategic, financial planning and commercial issues and opportunities. Ensuring effective business partnering, decision support, performance management and financial control activities for the business. Ensuring company accounting procedures conformed to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Represent the company externally to media, government agencies, funding agencies, and the general public. Apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports by compiling information, preparing profit and loss statements, and utilizing appropriate accounting control procedures. Develop the annual operating budget and consult with departmental management on the fiscal aspects of program planning, salary recommendations, and other administrative actions. Manage the operational and fiscal activities of the departments. Plan and develop systems and procedures to improve the operating quality and efficiency of the departments. Supervise staff in accordance with company policies and procedures. Strategic planning and execution. Responsible for contracting, negotiating, and change management. Automated financial and accounting reporting systems. Compliance with federal and state financial regulations and taxing authorities. Provide leadership and coordination of company Human Resource functions. Develop and implement corporate Human Resource strategy and programs. Responsible for hiring, training, and coaching employees.
