• Hosted five monthly Health Night on the Town events. Researched the speaker and topic for news release and ad. Designed ad and secured newspaper placement. Tabulated follow-up research. • Published “Update”, a weekly in-house newsletter. Published “The Wellness Place Newsletter” and “Pathways” newsletter, monthly. • Advised the MMC Foundation on media relations while planning the first St. Patrick’s Day Pancake Breakfast and 3rd Annual Casino Night Fundraiser. • Coordinated the annual Hospital and Nurses’ Day 2005; procured gifts (3,000), coordinated food services, designed set-up, recruited and managed volunteers (30). • Assisted Doctor’s Day 2005 by creating and ordering invitations and posters. Also, obtained gifts (350 higher end) and assisted on the day of the event with photography. • Submitted news releases for a total of 257 column inches (equivalent to approximately $3,186 in advertising) • Worked directly with the CFO on Pathways, Doctor and Nurses’ Day and JCAHO accreditation.
