Daily Duties at Esselte Coporation:

In charge of corporate-wide planning and inventory control which included: Five manufacturing and distribution facilities in the United States, two manufacturing and distribution facilities in Canada, two manufacturing facilities in Mexico, and two manufacturing facilities and one distribution facility in Australia (inventory average value exceeded $75 million with 23,000 SKU's, and servicing 600+ customers). Directed staff development: Supervised, hired/dismissed, trained/evaluated, reviewed performance appraisals, promoted, and motivated 8 Managers and up to 25 employees. Lean Leader Supply Chain: Directed Lean training and Kaizen for all supply chain personnel and key suppliers. Managed domestic buys of $21 million per annum and overseas buys of $2.5 million. Managed Customer Operations Team for Staples, Office Max, Wal-Mart, and Office Depot encompassing 75% of Esselte sales. Acted as Supply Chain Systems Implementation Leader: XPTA, ASI (forecasting and order entry), ASK, and Manugistics. Acted as Team Leader in implementation of S&OP Worldwide, including Esselte Americus and European Operations.
