Managed brand strategies for $360MM in book club revenues with over $42MM promotional budget. P&L and ROI accountability for online and paper based pricing, editorial selection, web content, creative design and distribution for over 110 annual catalogs and 50 annual direct mail and online campaigns and many other CRM related communications. Recruited by CEO to head Specialty club segment of new Joint venture with Book-of-the-Month Club (Time Warner). Directed new customer acquisition, retention and sales efforts. Forecasted market trends and adapted existing programs towards those trends. Managed media selections, campaign budget and sales analyses; built annual sales budget and forecasts across major brands. Led the development and implementation of successful online customer engagement programs in specialty markets. Led highly talented staff of 50 (digital marketing, developers, and buyers), with 4 direct reports, in achieving aggressive revenue targets while keeping new customer centric focus. Responsible for over 40 million annual customer contacts (online and mail).
