Daily Duties at Rockwell Collins :
• Designed and analyzed various parts of assemblies for aircraft simulators. Used Solidworks and SmarTeam to create and store both models and drawings. • Co-authored a research and development proposal to study the usability of a fire suppression system for commercial aircraft simulators. • Supported various government proposal efforts through research of past programs to provide a basis for estimate documentation. • Created assembly procedures for all assemblies as required. • Participated in an operations-to-engineering rotation program to improve communication between functions and gain hands on knowledge of what is critical when transforming designs to tangible hardware. • Partnered with BLACK HAWK Platform on various initiatives such as EH&S, ACE, Financial audits, and other designs.
