Daily Duties at Pulte Homes Ny/Nj Division:
Assisted with the preparation of financial statements. Maintained general ledger in accordance with US GAAP and corporate accounting policy guidelines. Compiled and prepared Sarbanes-Oxley balance sheet schedules and documentation. Processed house sales journal entry in Lawson and printed house gross margin report. Reviewed house cost (job cost) variances after each check run and made any adjustments after communicating with the Purchasing Director and Construction Manager. Reviewed bi-weekly payroll register and uploaded payroll entry to Lawson G/L. Uploaded customer’s deposits and other cash receipts to Lawson A/R and prepared weekly and monthly cash deposit forecast. Reconciled and closed out the monthly depreciation process in Lawson and prepared the fixed asset schedule. Verifying property tax assessments and file quarterly tax returns. Responsible for petty cash control and accounts payable check processing. Assisted with internal and external audit requirements. Managed the Division Human Resources working directly with the Area VP of HR.
