Daily Duties at Ashley Valley Medical Center:

Assessment, management and supervision of care for acute and minor injuries, diseases and diagnoses in order to provide expedient and proficient nursing care to patients of all ages. Setup, use and management of various medical equipment; EKG monitors, ventilators, chest tubes, central lines,multi-line IV pumps, etc. Identify noted change in patient's conditions; notify physicians, obtain, transcribe and carry out orders in a timely mannner; supervising and delegating work load fairly and appropriately among coworkers. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all patient care, procedures and events. Familiar with all forms of hospital required documentation and computer charting.
