Daily Duties at Usa Casualty:
•Second-line Help Desk on-site and remote user support of hardware, software and network problems in Windows/Novell environment. Responsible for setup, upgrade and support of over 150 desktops/laptops and 50+ printers. •Researched, developed, and implemented plan to upgrade applications and hardware to meet Y2K compliance. •Assisted Network Administrator with user setup/rights, printer setup. •Identified and correct local/remote server connectivity problems. •Responsible for hardware inventory records and database integrity. •Coordinated remote office telephone requirements with local and LD carriers, Network and telephone line termination •Trained as backup AS/400 Operator, to perform daily, weekly, month-end production, backups and end-user support.
