Daily Duties at Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System:
Support the Arizona and Hawaii online and batch HIPAA compliant MEDICAID systems. Maintain and enhance Encounters tracking system used to negotiate annual Health Plan contracts. · Create and enhance system data load of HIPAA Health Plan data · Re-designed Medicaid system edits ensuring the integrity of Health Plan submitted data · Design and enhance Health Plan claim reporting · Work directly with END USER community to develop project requirements thereby ensuring a complete and accurate interpretation of system modification requests and enhanced deliverable · Create all documentation and forms necessary to maintain CMM compliance o Create requirements and Design documents o Create unit Testing Results documents o Create table update authorization instructions and associated documents o Create operations documentation for Control-M/D implementation · Trained junior programmers and operations personnel · Work closely with Division test team to ensure quality of production turns · Provide backup and on-call duty as Release Manager ensuring successful production implementation of all varieties of components including programs, reports, operational components, Mercator maps, etc. · Corrected numerous online and batch production problems some of which were several years old · Rewrote the duplicate processing system for HIPAA Health Plan submitted EDI data ensuring health plan CLAIM submission compliance
