Associate Technical Specialist-Rotational Engineer (August 2007-Present) Aluminum Die Cast Department (April 2009-Present) · Provide technical engineering support/leadership to assigned line · Project management from concept, to design, procurement and installation · Lead project to improve part identification system · Learn line layouts and basic operating procedures for both high pressure die casting and low pressure die casting · Lead projects to improve energy usage · Lead projects for continuous improvement of both high pressure die cast and low pressure die cast production lines Aluminum Block Machining Department (August 2007-March 2009) · Provide technical engineering support/leadership to assigned line including: small projects for overall line improvement, oversee daily quality and perform any adjustments that are needed, track machine downtime and cycle times to identify any problems on the line, and develop/implement any counter measures to keep the line running at an optimum level · Lead project to automate the unloading/palletizing of blocks · Learn line layouts and operating procedures for machining equipment · Training Received: Confined Space Entry, Forklift Training, Robotics Safety Principles, Lock-out/Tag-out and Fall Protection Procedures, Elevated Lifts, Electrical Safety, Pallet Jack Lift Class, Coordinate Measuring Machine(CMM) Training, Computer Numerical Control(CNC) Programming/Operation, Programmable Logic Controller(PLC) Programming, Human-Machine Interface(HMI) Programming
