Daily Duties at Hussey & Liles, P.A.:

Sole Legal Assistant for two-attorney civil rights and personal injury law firm. Responsible for drafting correspondence to clients, District, Circuit and County Courts, assisted clients with the preparation of required documents, prepared detailed client summaries outlining client injuries for forwarding to major insurance companies and maintained client files. Responsible for communicating with clients regarding their lawsuits, written and oral communications with representatives of insurance companies, doctors’ offices, judicial assistants and other law firms. Responsibilities also included travel to courthouse to file pleadings. Tasked with managing inefficient and ineffective HR processes gaining the confidence of the firm’s partners.
