Daily Duties at Charlotte County Government:

Accountable for the development and implementation of new policies and procedures primarily involving HR and Administrative related issues in a department with a $15 Million budget (FY08/09). Further responsibilities include, but are not limited to, developing hiring plans and conducting interview training, employee relations, organizational development initiatives and employee orientations. Oversee human resources coordination, facilitate and track departmental trainings, grant writing, addressing and documenting departmental public records request; budget preparation/control; grant writing and prepared documents to go before the Board of County Commissioners; manage, supervise and evaluate administrative support staff and HR personnel. Implement and facilitate production of Department marketing pieces, press releases and media kits. Act as Department liaison to County Administration, County Attorney’s Office and Board of County Commissioners. Ensures all organizational activities and operations are carried out in compliance with local, State and Federal regulations and laws.
