Daily Duties at Wells Fargo Bank:
As a consultant, performing as a programmer/analyst, participated in the conversion of Commercial Loan Systems (of all the banks acquired by First Interstate) to the AFS System. Responsibilities involved mapping old data fields to fields in the system, writing conversion programs to create input transactions, monitoring daily posting runs, and developing programs to interface the new commercial loan system with other systems. Work was performed using COBOL and DATA-XPERT. As a member of the Wells Fargo merger team, installed a CICS system (from Wells Fargo) into existing First Interstate systems. Responsibilities included copying, modifying, testing and installing online and batch screens, programs and files.
