Daily Duties at Christian Counseling And Advisor/Counselor Mental Health Field:
I have been working as a Qualified Professional (Social Worker) in the Mental Health Field. I have also been advising in a Traumatic Brain Injury Rehabilitation Facility. I developed a “Systems” approach for management and patient care. I created and wrote out a systematic approach for each of the clients so that the consistency of behavioral redirection by employees would improve the clients overall goals. I advised the employer on implementing cost cutting reduction in force where as the Rehabilitation Facility was able to increase client care through accountability and training of paraprofessionals therefore allowing greater results in outcome management of client care and goals. In 2009 I assisted in the research and design for new educational classes and programs that fall within the states new guidelines for Psychosocial Rehabilitation Programming. The programs (classroom material) I developed were designed to educate individuals with mental health, physical and cognitive disabilities. This also includes development of patient plans, which required assessments of physical, cognitively, and mental health needs, charting of clinical assessments, working within physician’s protocols, follow through of treatment and assessing results. I also worked in training paraprofessionals for the understanding of Outcomes Management. I also served to facilitate coordination of other disciplines, PT, case managers, therapist and other medical personal. I have also been working one-on-one with military personal who have returned from active service with PTSD, Head Injuries and other post service challenges. I have helped them set new goals and develop a “Plan” including going to college to achieve their goals. I have consistently taught the old saying “without a plan you plan to fail” as I teach life mapping and a systems approach to life. I have been serving in Respite Care for military families who have children with special needs. I have over 25,000 hours in counseling Marriage and Family, Life coaching, Mental Illness and Head Injury. I help these parents to understand that a constant routine and a systematic approach to life’s circumstances will help them to raise healthy children and to develop a stronger marriage.

Working for a company with an emphasis on social values and helping society is a clear and important priority for you - a critical factor in who you choose to work for. In contrast to other factors, you place an organization's reputation for fairness and concern for the community above most other aspects of the company. As you search for a new job opportunity, it is usually possible to find out if the company is involved in the community and/or if it is addressing problems and issues in society. Pay special attention to non-profit organizations and those specifically involved in social action. Moreover, speaking with current and former employees should enlighten you to perceptions of the fairness of the company's leaders and the treatment of employees.
