Daily Duties at Harder Mechanical:

Installation of a Mitsubishi 450 MW Steam Turbine and Generator at Springerville Generating Station in Springerville AZ. As part of an expansion project to add a fourth unit to the facility, I worked for fourteen months on the construction of the Turbine. The workscope consisted of ; Setting grade of Sole Plates, installation of Governor, HP, LP, Generator, Exciter and Turning Gear. Setting of Bearings and Rotor Shafts to achieve proper alignment. Oil flush of all piping associated with Bearings and Pedestals. Final Rotor alignment, and alignment of all Oil and Water feed pumps associated with the system. I also completed a training course in Overhead Crane Operations and acted in that capacity on numerous occasions.
