Daily Duties at Foster Wheeler Constructors Inc.:

Outage at Valmi Power Plant outside of Valmi Nevada; a two unit, coal fire, steam generation plant. Inspection, repair, and overhaul of coal pulverizers. Workscope included replacement of Classifier Louvers, Roll Assemblies, Wear Tires, Roll Pivots and Blocks, Throat Rings, Pyrites Plows, Labyrinth Rings and Gear Boxes. In addition, I performed a rebuild on an Air Pre-heater gearbox, which consisted of pulling out all gears and replacing the Roller Bearings, replacement of Bull Gear, and lazer alignment of main and backup motors.
