• Managed all LAN infrastructures for the firm. such as installation and configuration of routers & switch. Performed network monitoring, troubleshooting network outages, provided ongoing system administration. • Insured current documentation was kept on LAN/WAN configurations. • Maintained and supported Cisco 2500, 4000, 7000 and 7500 Series Routers as well as Catalyst 5000 and 5500 Series switches. . • Maintaining OSPF, EIGRP, RIP and static routing protocol on CISCO routers and catalyst switches. • Configuring and maintaining VLANS and the VLAN database, managing VTP servers for updated VLAN information. • Setup TFTP server to maintain CISCO router configurations and CISCO images. Worked on network software and hardware upgrades. • Run Junos in a network to improves the reliability, performance, and security of existing applications • Worked on Layer 2 security in Server Farms by configuring switch for 802.1x (EAPOL) port based authentication. • Troubleshot Cisco hardware: Inspected devices, Read device LEDs, loose connections, cards, dirty devices, interior IOS upgrade, switch configuration usage of Visual Switch Manager, switch port configuration, port monitoring. Watch over Flooding Control/Network port. • Worked on configuration and installation of new desktops for users using GHOST, EZ copy and Dist-to-Disk copy. • Attended various hardware issues for PCs, Printers. • Install and maintain Windows 2000/2003/NT servers. Configuring DHCP, DNS servers. • Provided support to Help Desk for complex/major network problems.
